I'm sure there are a couple of critique stamps out there- however, I can't seem to find one that supports honest critique. You know: the stuff that does not hold back. The stuff that may not say something nice about your work. People that do do that are chewed up and torn about by the people that want honest praise, and they vanish. They need to know that they are still very, very needed!

Agreed completely, I absolutely love getting them.
I get to find out what I need to improve on and how I can do that.
And it also makes me happy that someone found it worth the time to take a minute typing out something about my art.

You will now interpret the above comment into something that's either offensive to you or dirty.

If you do stop by my gallery, any critique or advice you may have for me would be much appreciated. I'd love to improve.

I admit if I had a rude harsh critique, I'd be upset. But at least it's helpful!! Instead making me wonder if they are lying! And I'd learn to get used to harsher things! My favorite type of critiques are the ones that are honest, informative, but still try their best to be nice and/or polite! :)

Agreed! I guess I've gotten a little use to harsh critiques from school and whatnot, but something that tells me the strengths in the piece along with what I can improve, I find, are always my favorite.

People can be brutal if they need to be. I just need honesty. I admit, I may not make changes based on your critique, but I will listen to what you have to say and I'll be grateful that you took the time to try and help me improve.

YES! THIS IS THE BEST!

Now you need to make a stamp that says. "Just because your friends think your art is "cool" does not mean you're a bigshot amazing artist"
